Deposits, and when one is a scam
London Escorts Hub never takes bookings, deposits or payments, so nobody here will ever ask you for money. Some escorts do ask a client they have not met for a small deposit, so that a no-show does not cost them the booking. That on its own is not a warning sign. What matters is what is being asked for, and how.
Reasonable: a modest part of the rate, by a traceable method, raised openly while you agree the time and place, with the escort or the agency on the number shown on her profile.
A scam: the full fee up front, a “verification fee”, a “booking fee”, gift cards, vouchers, crypto or top up codes, an account in a name that does not match, pressure to pay quickly, or any request from someone who contacted you rather than a profile you chose. Stop replying and report the profile to us.
Use the number on the profile
Scammers copy photos from real profiles and post them elsewhere with their own number. Contact escorts and agencies using the details shown on their profile here, and be wary if someone moves you to a different number or app.
Check the profile first
Look at the badges and what each one says was checked. A profile with verified photos is a far safer choice than one nobody has checked.
If something feels wrong
You can end any conversation or booking at any time. In an emergency, call 999.

If a client has been dangerous or abusive, you can report them to National Ugly Mugs, a UK charity that shares warnings with sex workers. You can also tell us, and we will act on reports about anyone using the hub.
