Cancelling or Rescheduling a Booking

How much notice to give, what happens to a deposit, why a no show costs you more than money, and what to do if she cancels on you.

Plans change and everybody knows it. What separates a client an escort will see again from one she will not is almost never the cancellation itself, it is how much notice came with it and whether a message arrived at all.

Notice

Twenty four hours is the working expectation across this industry, and the reasoning is practical rather than moral.

When she accepted your booking she stopped offering that slot. She may have turned down two other people for it, arranged her day around it, and in the case of an outcall planned a journey. Inside a day there is no realistic chance of refilling it, so a late cancellation is not an inconvenience, it is the whole fee gone.

Outside twenty four hours, a polite message is all that is needed and nothing more will be said about it. Inside, expect a deposit to be kept if you paid one, and expect that to be fair.

Deposits

Most ordinary hourly bookings on this hub do not involve one. They come up for long bookings, overnights, travel outside London and anything unusual enough that she is turning other work down to hold the slot.

Ask what the cancellation terms are when you book, not when you cancel. Any escort who takes deposits will have a clear answer, usually along the lines of the deposit being kept inside twenty four hours and moved to a new date outside it.

One thing worth repeating from our guide on escort scams: a deposit is a modest amount by a traceable method, discussed openly when you book. Gift cards, vouchers, crypto and top up codes are not deposits. If that is what you are asked for, there is no booking to cancel because there was never a booking.

How to cancel

Ring, or send one clear message. Say who you are, which booking, and that you cannot make it. You do not owe her an explanation and she will not ask for one.

What you should not do is go quiet. Ghosting a confirmed booking is the single thing that gets a client marked down everywhere, and agencies keep records that outlast any individual escort’s memory. A one line message costs you nothing and keeps you bookable.

The same applies to running late. Tell her as soon as you know. Bear in mind the hour may still end when it was always going to end, since she probably has something after you, so twenty minutes late is often twenty minutes lost rather than twenty minutes added.

Rescheduling is better

If you still want the booking, move it rather than cancelling it. It is far better received, a deposit will usually transfer, and it takes the sting out of the lost slot.

Offer a specific alternative rather than asking her to suggest one. Two options and a time frame is a thirty second conversation. Asking her to work around an unknown schedule is another job for her, and it usually ends with the booking quietly not happening.

If she cancels on you

It happens, and less often than people expect. Illness, a family emergency, or occasionally a safety reason she will not explain and does not have to. This work involves meeting strangers alone, and an escort who has decided against a booking is exercising judgement you should want her to have.

What is reasonable to expect: a message rather than silence, a deposit returned or moved to a new date, and an offer of an alternative slot if she can. Most escorts on the hub will do all three unaccompanied by any prompting.

What is not reasonable is a pattern. One cancellation is life. Repeated cancellations, or a deposit that never comes back, is a listing to leave alone, and contact us if it happens with someone listed here.

What happens if you keep doing it

Escorts talk, and agencies keep proper records. A client who cancels late twice is remembered, and a client who fails to show is generally not offered another booking.

None of that is punitive. It is a diary with a finite number of slots in it, and the people who get the good ones are the ones who turn up. Being easy to deal with is worth more in this market than being generous.

Before you book at all

Most cancellations are avoidable, and they come from booking optimistically. Book the evening you know you have rather than the one you hope for, and check the timing against everything else in your day, including the journey.

Our guide on how to book an escort in London covers the call, and available today is where to look if you would rather book something now than commit to next week.

Questions people ask

How much notice should I give?

Twenty four hours is the usual expectation. Inside that she has almost certainly turned other bookings down and cannot refill the slot.

Will I lose a deposit?

Inside twenty four hours, usually yes, and that is reasonable. Ask what her cancellation terms are when you book rather than when you cancel.

What if I just do not turn up?

You will not be booked again, by her or by her agency, and agencies keep records. A one line message costs you nothing and keeps the door open.

Can I move a booking instead?

Usually, and it is far better received than cancelling. Offer a specific alternative rather than asking her to suggest one.

What if she cancels on me?

It happens, usually illness or a safety reason she will not explain. A deposit should come back or move to the new date, and a good escort will offer one.
